NZ Schools Team Win in Australia


Our NZ team is once again bringing home the Southern Cross Challenge Trophy.

The NZ School's team has proven to tbe the best against the Aussie State Schools teams every year since 2003.

The competition has had points added over three events - Sprint, Long and Relays. The New Zealand teenagers proving too good to beat again this year, finishing first in all four grades in the relay on the last day.

Our HBOC junior members running in the NZ Schools Team were Carolyne Nel(Senior Girl's Team) and Will Tidswell (Junior Boy's Team). Tessa Burns and Braeden Kommeren competed in the NZ Representative Team.

Others are competing in the Australian Carnival, a week-long series of Championships. Duncan Morrison has been competing in the 21Elites grade. Bunny Rathbone has been the only one in her W80 grade.
